Duane Dunk is the Managing Director at Aqua Guidance, a leading provider of point-of-use water purification solutions. Duane has over 18 years of experience in the water purification industry, and has been instrumental in the growth of both HaloSource and AquaGuidance.

Duane Dunk started their career in the water purification industry in 2001 with HaloSource, Inc. as the Director of Drinking Water. HaloSource is a leading expert on point-of-use water purification solutions, killing bacteria and viruses quickly, effectively and affordably. HaloSource’s HaloPure technology brings the germ-killing power of chlorinated and brominated contact biocides to help the world’s leading providers of water filters and purification products effectively and affordably purify drinking water and differentiate themselves from their competitors. HaloPure delivers the world’s most affordable in-home water purification solutions without compromise of water quality and health safety.

In 2009, Duane left HaloSource to start their own consulting business, D. Duane Dunk Consulting. As a Business Planning & Development / Strategic Marketing Consultant, Duane helped companies with market entry strategies, business planning, and product development. In 2013, they joined KX Technologies LLC as the Director Global Business for Advanced Technologies. At KX Technologies, Duane was responsible for developing and executing the global business strategy for a portfolio of advanced water treatment products.

Duane Dunk has an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology with a dual specialization in marketing and e-commerce. Duane also has a BBA from the University of Texas Permian Basin in accountancy and information systems. Their undergraduate degree is in marketing from Texas State University. Duane also has a certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
