Corey Peet has extensive experience in sustainability and fisheries management, currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability and previously as Director of Sustainability at Aqua Star since November 2017. As Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor at Postelsia since November 2015, Corey facilitated shrimp aquaculture and fisheries stakeholder meetings across Southeast Asia. Corey also held the position of VP of Seafood at Where Food Comes From, Inc. from February 2020 to April 2024 and Co-Managing Director at the Asian Seafood Improvement Collaborative until April 2024, overseeing project development and stakeholder engagement. Notably, between August 2016 and March 2020, Corey was Smart Catch Sustainability Director at The James Beard Foundation, improving seafood sustainability in American restaurants. Earlier roles include Founding Partner at EcoHub Global, Southeast Asian Track Manager at Fish 2.0, and Lead Consultant for shrimp standards at the US AID MARKET Project. Corey holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Marine Conservation Ecology & Environmental Studies and Marine Ecology from the University of Victoria.
