Christopher Szlatenyi has held two engineering positions. In 2019, they became the Lead Engineer at Arctura, Inc., a company focused on reducing the cost of wind energy through technology innovation. From 2012 to 2019, they were a Senior Engineer at NAVATEK, LTD., where they worked on advanced plasma flow control technology for wind turbines, designed and developed ship structural design and optimization software for the Navy, and product development of drop-stitch inflatable fabric technologies.
Christopher Szlatenyi earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2009. Christopher is currently a Master of Science candidate in Ocean Engineering at the University of Rhode Island.
