Astrid E M H. is a seasoned professional in the fields of governance, risk management, and information security. Currently serving as the CISO and DPO at Aquanow, Astrid also holds committee memberships in corporate governance and cyber security at the UAE Banks Federation. Previously, Astrid was the GRC Director for Asia Pacific and the Middle East in Corporate Banking at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank and served as the CCO overseeing information security for the MENA region at Barclays. Astrid's academic credentials include a BA in Economics and a Master’s in Economics and Business Administration, both obtained from Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark.
