Guofei Sun

Guofei Sun has a range of experience in the water purification industry. Guofei currently works for Aquaporin A/S as a Global Product Manager starting in March 2022. Previously, they worked at Aquaporin Asia Pte. Ltd. where they held multiple roles including Deputy Manager from November 2019 to present, Head of R&D from September 2016 to November 2019, Project Manager from November 2014 to September 2016, and Biomimetic Membrane Developer from April 2013 to October 2014. In their role as Biomimetic Membrane Developer, they were responsible for the development, production, and testing of the Aquaporin Inside Membrane. Prior to their time at Aquaporin, Guofei Sun worked as a Research Engineer at National University of Singapore from August 2009 to March 2013, where they focused on designing and fabricating biomimetic membranes for water purification using frontier technologies.

Guofei Sun completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Singapore from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the same institution between 2009 and 2013.
