Joerg Hess

Joerg Hess has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joerg currently serves as the COO for Aquaporin A/S since July 2019. Before this, they held the position of Executive VP & General Manager at AZ ARMATUREN - THE PLUG VALVE COMPANY from August 2015 to June 2019. Joerg also worked as the Executive Manager at GiMA consult Gesellschaft für integriertes Management mbH from February 2014 to July 2015.

Prior to these roles, Joerg held the position of VP & GM Water Filtration at MANN+HUMMEL GmbH from November 2010 to December 2013. Joerg also served as the Director of Operations at Siemens Water Technologies from January 2007 to October 2010, and as a Senior Manager - Business Excellence at Siemens from January 2005 to December 2006.

Earlier in their career, Joerg worked at Telefónica Germany as a Project Manager Sales & MBA Student from January 2001 to December 2004. Joerg also served as the General Manager Commercial at RWT Water Technologies from January 1995 to December 2000.

Joerg Hess holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Marketing from the European School of Business in Reutlingen, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they graduated from the Technical University Stuttgart with a Master of Science (Dipl. Ing.) degree in Civil Engineering, which they completed from 1989 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Joerg has obtained several certifications, including Lean Manufacturing from Siemens Management Consulting in 2008, Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ in 2004, and Project Manager from IPMA: International Project Management Association in 2003.
