Eamonn O'Kane

Eamonn O'Kane has work experience in various roles and companies.

Starting in 2018, O'Kane worked as a Junior Analyst at Queen's Student Managed Fund until June 2021. During this time, they gained experience in analyzing investment funds.

In December 2018, O'Kane attended the Young Investment Banker Weekend organized by InvestIN Education. This event provided him with insights into the investment banking industry and allowed him to learn about valuation techniques and different roles within the sector.

Later that same month, O'Kane had a week-long work experience opportunity at MINT Partners Australia, a division of BGC Partners. Here, they shadowed a bond broker and learned about the functioning of a trade floor and the impact of bond demand on yield curves and prices.

O'Kane also worked as a Trainee Fund Accountant at IPSI from July 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they prepared financial statements for investment funds and conducted financial data analysis using Excel.

Currently, O'Kane is employed at Data Intellect as a Business Analyst starting from August 2021. Eamonn'sresponsibilities include working on mobile app development projects and trade surveillance in investment banks and hedge funds. Eamonn uses Agile methodologies, gathers requirements, and manages project workflows.

Throughout their work experience, O'Kane demonstrated a strong interest in the finance industry and has acquired knowledge in investment analysis, financial statement preparation, and project management.

Eamonn O'Kane pursued their education at Queen's University Belfast from 2017 to 2021. During this time, they completed a degree in Finance with a year in Industry. Further details regarding their field of study were not provided.
