Wen Liu

Wen Liu has over 19 years of experience in the field of actuarial work. They are currently serving as the Chief Actuary and Principal at Aquarian Holdings, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Oliver Wyman. They also held the role of AVP and Actuary at Vantis Life Insurance Company from 2010 to 2019. From 2008 to 2010, Wen Liu worked as an Actuary at ING, and from 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Actuarial Consultant at The Hartford. They started their career as a Sr Actuarial Assistant at Phoenix Life Insurance Company from 2005 to 2006 and then served as an Actuarial Associate at ING from 2002 to 2005.

Wen Liu completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics & Actuarial Science from the University of Toronto, which took place from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Wen Liu obtained certifications including the Fellow designation from the Society of Actuaries in 2008, and membership in the American Academy of Actuaries in 2007.
