Arthur Woodward

Arthur Woodward has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Arthur currently holds the position of Principal Security Engineer at Aquia Inc since January 2023. Prior to that, from July 2020 to January 2023, they worked as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer at Lyteworx Automation Systems. In this role, they were responsible for architecting and implementing a Gitlab-ci pipeline for various scanning purposes. From January 2016 to June 2020, Arthur was a Solutions Architect in Research and Development at Leidos, where they designed and implemented frameworks for analytics and AI research. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer in Cybersecurity at GDIT from February 2014 to December 2015, where they assisted in architecting and implementing a ticketing system and managed a clustered MongoDB instance. Prior to their transition to the tech industry, Arthur worked as a Software Engineer at Invertix Corporation from May 2012 to February 2014. In addition to their tech experience, Arthur also has previous experience as an Electrician, Plumber, and Carpenter at Plain & Fancy Carpentry from September 2005 to May 2012. Arthur led a team and worked on various renovation projects. Arthur also briefly worked as an Insurance Underwriter at American Income Insurance in April 2007.

Arthur Woodward began their education journey in 2007 at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they pursued a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics and Biomaterials. Arthur completed this degree in 2011. In 2009, Arthur continued their education at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical/Medical Engineering in 2012.

Additionally, Arthur Woodward obtained two certifications: the Amazon Web Services Security Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2022 and the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in December 2022.
