Dominic Couture

Dominic Couture is a seasoned professional in the field of cybersecurity, currently serving as Principal Security Engineer at Clerk.com since August 2025. Prior to this role, Dominic held multiple positions at GitLab from November 2019 to August 2025, including Principal Security Engineer in Product Security, where responsibilities included leading the security team’s dogfooding program and driving mitigation efforts for identified security risks. With a strong foundation in application security, Dominic also contributed to automation and the bug bounty program while defining the future of the Product Security Engineering team. Earlier experience includes full stack development roles at Emergensys Solutions, ION, and an internship at Wanted Technologies, as well as a research internship at INRS. Dominic holds two Bachelor's degrees from Université Laval—one in Computer Science and another in Engineering Physics.
