Chen Zhang is the CEO and Co-Founder of Aquifer, a VR/AR company. Prior to Aquifer, Chen was the Vice President of the Austin Chapter for the VR/AR Association from April 2018 to September 2019. In this role, Chen facilitated growth, awareness, and connections among the companies and groups in Austin that innovate, invest, or are interested in AR and VR technologies and experiences. From September 2017 to December 2017, Chen was a Consultant at Gensler where they helped clients shape and realize the most transformative ideas through the clarification and balance of design, business, and technology opportunities and goals. Chen has a deep understanding of how to apply current and upcoming technologies to help teams understand the opportunities and challenges of client organizations. Chen is skilled at articulating requirements, dependencies, and opportunities and establishing deep and ongoing relationships with clients and delivery partners downstream.

Chen Zhang studied management as a bachelor's degree at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, with a dual major in marketing and economics. Afterward, they completed a Master of Arts in clinical mental health at Wake Forest University.
