Peter Hitchcock

Peter Hitchcock is the CEO of Aquila Air Traffic Management Services as of August 2024, overseeing critical services to UK Defence within a Thales/NATS joint venture. Prior to this role, Peter served in various leadership positions at Thales from 2006 to 2024, including Vice President of Training & Simulation, Commercial Avionics, and Aviation Systems, each focusing on P&L responsibilities and service delivery in both Defence and Civil sectors globally. Peter also held a Director position at AirTanker from 2013 to January 2017, contributing to the management of a fleet of A330 aircraft. Peter holds a BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University of Surrey, attained between 1985 and 1989.
