Javier Fernández

Javier Fernández is a Structured Finance Associate at Aquila Capital, responsible for debt financing within the EMEA Aquila Clean Energy team since January 2023. Previously, Javier held the position of Structured Finance Analyst in the Financial Solutions team at Vestas from August 2020 to September 2023, along with a role as Financial Analyst focusing on Business Performance Management in the Vestas MED region. Earlier experience includes modeling analysis at GERAD for climate change policies, asset management at Plenium Partners S.L. for a wind and solar portfolio, and engineering assistance on the Snowfarm X project with AlpinovX and LEGI Grenoble. Javier holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Maîtrise professionnelle in Energy Engineering specializing in renewable energies from Polytechnique Montréal.
