Owen Pattison has worked in the software development industry since 2012. In 2021, they began working as a Principal Developer and Senior Software Developer for Aquila Learning. From 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at NewOrbit Ltd, where they wrote web applications primarily using Typescript, React and .NET Core, as well as leading the implementation of an Office 365 integration with SSO using OAuth, OIDC and Microsoft Graph API. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Web Developer for GrowCreate - Leading Umbraco agency & certified Umbraco developers, creating MVC web applications solely using the Umbraco CMS and providing front-end support development for clients. In 2013, they worked as a Web Developer for BT Fresca, developing websites using the Fresca Commerce Platform and writing a small Python application to handle error pages. Finally, from 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Web Designer & Developer for Fishing TV, T&B Contractors, managing, creating and distributing digital media for the company, as well as designing and creating digital media, administering 15,000 active users and solving issues with Viewing, Subscription and Smart TV Access and payments using Magento.

Owen Pattison attended the University of Hertfordshire from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Multimedia Design. In 2015, they obtained a certification as an Umbraco Certified Level 2 Developer.
