Billy Jeremijenko has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2019, they worked as an Intern at the UQ Institute for Molecular Bioscience, applying deep-learning techniques to predict traits based on genetics. Billy also interned at Bad Monkeys, where they analyzed Autodesk Revit workflows using advanced database systems and applied Python scripting skills. In 2020, Billy worked as an Intern at Proxy and participated in the development of a high-performance recommendation engine at Atmos as a Software Developer. Billy then interned at Biarri Networks, where they gained experience in network operations. In 2021, Billy worked as a Software Developer at QPay and later as an Algorithms Developer at The University of Queensland, focusing on energy trading. Billy also served as a Startmate Fellow, supporting early-stage startups. In 2022, Billy became a Wild Futures Finalist at Blackbird and co-founded Aquila, where they currently serve as the CEO.

Billy Jeremijenko attended Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) from 2009 to 2018. Billy then pursued a Bachelor of Mathematics with a focus on Statistics at The University of Queensland from 2019 to 2021.
