Michael Szymanski

Michael Szymanski is an experienced investment professional currently serving as Managing Director at Aquiline, a position held since October 2025. Previously, Szymanski worked as a Private Funds / Structured Products Fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from September 2023 to September 2025, contributing to rulemaking and examinations in the Division of Investment Management. As a Senior Advisor and Chief Financial Officer at American Triple I from October 2018 to September 2023, strategic and operational guidance was provided in the launch of a private equity firm focused on infrastructure. Szymanski's earlier roles include consulting for Fidelity Investments, leading Ryders Cove Advisors as Managing Member, and serving as President and CEO of zaisgroup. Other significant positions include chairing the Audit Committee at the National Stock Exchange and acting as CEO of XE Capital Management. Szymanski holds a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
