Heidi Geist

Heidi Geist, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Heidi currently holds the position of Vice President, People Operations at Aquyre Biosciences, Inc. where they provide strategic leadership in human resources management and leads HR programs that align with the company's mission and objectives. Prior to their current role, they were the Director of Human Resources at 8BioMed and Nomad Financial. At HireAthena, they served as the Director of People Ops/Human Resources and was responsible for managing and developing the HR team, implementing HR programs, and creating an inclusive remote work environment. Earlier in their career, they worked at Colorcon, Inc. as the Head of Human Resources, overseeing the entire HR organization and leading the implementation of HR systems. Heidi also gained experience as a Communications Consultant at Mercer HR Consulting, where they designed and implemented employee benefit programs and organizational changes. Heidi Geist began their career as a writer, working at MSNBC and Christie's.

Heidi Geist, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, received their educational foundation from various institutions. In 1998, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Communications at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1998, Heidi obtained their undergraduate degree in Communications with a focus on Human Resources from the same institution. In 1999, they pursued further education in Technology by completing a Certificated Site Designer program at Drexel University. Additionally, Heidi Geist has obtained multiple certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2005, they earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they embarked on expanding their knowledge by achieving the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, as well as the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
