Noor Mateen is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at Reach Us Detroit since January 2021, Noor also holds the position of Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. Previous experience includes roles in the cosmetology field as a Cosmetologist at Supercuts and a Stylist as a self-employed individual, as well as leadership experience as a Sales Supervisor at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse. Noor's educational background includes a Master of Clinical Social Work from the University of Michigan, a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health from the University of Maryland, and an Associate of Arts in Public Health Education and Promotion from Montgomery College. Additional experience includes working as an Early Childhood Teacher at the Muslim Community Center.
