Narsimha Sattenapally

Narsimha Sattenapally, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific research and management. Narsimha is currently serving as the Principal Scientific Manager at Aragen Life Sciences, where they have been working since 2016. Prior to this position, they held roles of increasing responsibility at the same company, including Senior Scientific Manager and Scientific Manager.

Before joining Aragen Life Sciences, Dr. Sattenapally worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center from 2015 to 2016. During their time there, they focused on developing strategies for optimizing anti-TB treatment and designing novel compounds targeting a virulence pathway activator in Pseudomonas Aeruginosa.

From 2013 to 2015, Dr. Sattenapally served as a Research Scientist at AAS, Inc., where they contributed to research and development projects as a part of a contract research organization.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Sattenapally gained experience as a Research Assistant at the Meyers Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Organic and Medicinal Chemistry. Their responsibilities included developing catalysts and synthesizing organic and organo-metallic compounds. Narsimha also served as a Teaching Assistant, providing guidance to students in advanced organic chemistry laboratory courses.

Dr. Sattenapally began their career as a Research Associate at Aurigene Discovery Technologies Limited, where they worked in the medicinal chemistry division and participated in the synthesis of various organic compounds for cancer and anti-inflammatory drug discovery research.

In addition to their industry experience, Dr. Sattenapally served as an Academic Consultant at Osmania University, Hyderabad, INDIA in 2003.

Narsimha Sattenapally, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Osmania University in 2001. Narsimha went on to pursue their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemistry from the same institution, completing it in 2003. In 2006, Narsimha enrolled at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry in 2012.
