Satadru Sekhar Mandal

Satadru Sekhar Mandal has extensive work experience in the field of life sciences and research. Satadru Sekhar is currently working as a Principal Scientific Manager at Aragen Life Sciences since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd. as a Team Lead from March 2018 to July 2022. Satadru Sekhar also served as a Scientific Manager at GVK BIO from January 2017 to February 2018. Satadru Sekhar Mandal has a background in academic research as well, having worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Alberta from January 2014 to December 2016, and at Wayne State University from March 2012 to December 2013. Satadru Sekhar'sresearch focus includes the design and synthesis of oligosaccharide inhibitors for carbohydrate binding proteins, as well as the development of glycoconjugates for cancer immunotherapy.

Satadru Sekhar Mandal completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of Calcutta from 1998 to 2002. Satadru Sekhar then pursued a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry at Banaras Hindu University in Banaras, from 2002 to 2004. Following that, they attended the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) in Hyderabad, India, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, completing their studies from 2006 to 2011.
