Becky Cheng

Becky Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Becky currently holds the position of Director of Government Affairs at Athens Services, starting in 2023. Previously, Becky served as the Director of External Affairs at the Asian Pacific American Legislative Staffers APALS from 2010 until the present. Becky also worked in the Office of Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi AD66 as part of the California Assemblyman's team from 2022 to 2023. In the U.S. House of Representatives, Becky held the positions of Deputy Chief of Staff from 2019 to 2022 and District Director from 2010 to 2019. Additionally, they worked as an Events Specialist at the Asian Business Association-Los Angeles in 2007 and as an Event Coordinator at The Taiwan Center Foundation of Los Angeles in the same year. Prior to that, they were a Sales Manager in the Semiconductor Industry from 2002 to 2006. Becky also has experience in campaign work, having served as an event volunteer lead for the Mt.SAC School Board of Trustee - Judy Chen Haggerty Esq. in 2001 and as an assistant coordinator for the HLPUSD Campaign - Dr. Joseph Chang from 1997 to 2001.

Becky Cheng attended UC San Diego from 1998 to 2002, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Communications.
