Irene Nakitende

Irene Nakitende is a dedicated student at the University of North Texas, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from May 2022 to May 2026. Alongside academic commitments, Irene serves as a Diet Clerk/Hostess at Aramark since April 2023 and as a Human Rights Consultant for the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights since December 2022. Irene has been the Founder of Different Better With A Purpose since May 2017 and held the title of Miss Uganda Rising Woman from September 2016 to December 2017. Additionally, Irene has contributed as a Peer Educator at Reach A Hand, Uganda, since January 2015, and worked as a Project Coordinator at Africa Elevation from January 2016 to December 2016. Irene's educational background includes studies in Journalism & Mass Communication at Ndejje University and completion of high school at Atlas High School.
