Seumas Lobban has extensive work experience in the legal and energy industries. Seumas worked at Aramco Trading as Chief Counsel, overseeing all legal services for the company and serving as Secretary to the Board of Directors. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Transactional Counsel at Noble Group, where they handled international commodities transactions and M&A deals. Seumas also worked as Senior Legal Counsel at NextEra Energy Resources and Constellation, where they specialized in energy transactional work and negotiated various agreements in the energy sector. Seumas started their career as a Legal Counsel at Powerex, focusing on negotiating and delivering transactional contracts. Seumas also gained experience in regulatory energy applications and litigation at Dentons, where they worked as a Barrister & Solicitor. Seumas began their career at Oxera as an Editor/Analyst.
Seumas Lobban completed their education at various institutions. Seumas attended North Berwick High School from 1980 to 1987. Following this, they pursued their bachelor's degree in History from the University of Aberdeen, graduating in 1991. Seumas then went on to earn a Master of Letters in Medical History from the same university from 1991 to 1993. Finally, they furthered their education at The University of British Columbia, where they obtained a JD (Juris Doctor) in Law from 1997 to 2000.
