Imran Ulhaq

Imran Ulhaq is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, currently serving as a Research Science Specialist and R&DC Program Lead at Aramco since November 2018. In this role, Imran has been instrumental in developing strategies for flow assurance and oilfield chemicals and has successfully scaled up in-house technologies. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Research Scientist at Aramco, R&D Specialist at Delta-Tek Solutions Inc., and Senior Scientist at Camber Technology Corporation, where Imran managed various R&D projects and collaborated with academic and funding partners. Imran's earlier roles involved significant contributions to the synthesis of polymers and development of antimicrobial products, backed by academic research fellowship experience at The University of British Columbia and visiting research at the National Research Council Canada. Imran holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Potsdam, Germany.
