Mr Waleed al Helal

Mr. Waleed Al Helal is a seasoned professional in public relations with extensive experience at Aramco since July 1992, where current responsibilities include serving as Senior Public Relations Consultant for GM staff. From 2013 to 2019, Mr. Al Helal held the position of Regional Director for Aramco Asia Public Affairs, overseeing operations in China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and India. Notably, Mr. Al Helal coordinated a significant training course for local media personnel in 2007, which coincided with the third OPEC Summit in Riyadh. Prior to this, Mr. Al Helal was the Director of Public Affairs at the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC), where efforts focused on establishing the center's corporate identity and launching its website. Academically, Mr. Al Helal holds a Bachelor's degree in English language and Sociology from King Faisal University and a Diploma in Journalism from The London School of Journalism, complemented by extensive training in technical translation at University College Oxford.
