Theo Mallinson

Theo Mallinson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Engineering Division Head and Petroleum Engineering Consultant at Aramco Services Company since January 2016. Prior to this role, Theo was the Lead Process Engineer at Bumi Armada, overseeing a 15-member team during the detail design phase of a major FPSO development project for Angola, and also served as Process Head of Department at the same company. Theo’s career includes significant positions at Siemens Energy as Principal Consultant Group Manager, managing multidiscipline engineering teams on conceptual designs and detailed projects, and at ExxonMobil as a Process Lead Engineer involved in commissioning and startup for the Erha FPSO. Additional experience includes consulting roles at Optivelo and Berwanger, Inc., focusing on process safety and optimization. Theo holds a PgDip in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
