Tidjani Niass

Tidjani Niass is a highly experienced professional in the field of sustainability and chemical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Strategist at Saudi Aramco since September 2018. Niass co-leads the Carbon Capture Challenge for Mission Innovation and holds the position of Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Energy. Previous roles at Saudi Aramco include Chief Technologist, Fuels Program Manager, Acting Downstream Program Director, and Head of Separation Group, spanning from October 2008 to August 2017. Niass also led the Chemical Engineering Department at IFP Energies Nouvelles from May 1996 to January 2008. Academic credentials include a PhD and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Institut National Polytechnique de Lorraine, along with an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electricité et de Mécanique (ENSEM).
