Usman Shahzad

Usman Shahzad is an experienced engineering specialist currently working at Aramco since May 2015, with expertise in cathodic protection and serving as Vice Chair of the CP Standards Committee. Prior to Aramco, Usman held the position of Senior Cathodic Protection Engineer at Saipem from October 2012 to May 2015, focusing on innovative cathodic protection techniques and feasibility studies. Usman has also worked as a Senior Project Engineer and CP Project Engineer at Pipeline Maintenance Limited in the UK, overseeing various cathodic protection projects and guiding project engineers. Usman started the career at SNGPL as a Corrosion Engineer, specializing in material selection and corrosion risk assessment from April 2002 to September 2007. Usman holds a B.Sc in Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and an M.Sc in Total Quality Management from the University of the Punjab.
