Wail al-Jaafari

Wail Al-Jaafari is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Chairman of International Maritime Industries since July 2024, and holding various prominent positions at Saudi Aramco since June 2013, including Executive Vice President of Technical Services and Senior Vice President for Southern Area Gas Operations. Al-Jaafari has a strong background in managing large-scale gas operations and has played a pivotal role in Saudi Arabia's gas supply for crucial sectors. Additionally, Al-Jaafari has held key leadership roles in multiple organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the National Power Academy and National Industrial Training Institute. An alumnus of the MIT Sloan School of Management, Al-Jaafari earned an MBA in Innovation and Global Leadership and holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
