Hugues Chastel

Hugues Chastel has a diverse work experience. Hugues is currently the Head of Product Marketplace at Aramis Group since March 2022. Prior to that, they founded Prête-moi ton chat, the first fair cat-sitting platform in 2014. In this role, they managed the development of the platform, designed the product, and oversaw a team of developers and a UI designer. From 2016 to 2020, Hugues worked as the Head of Product at NewtonX, where they played a key role in building a proof of concept for their SaaS platform, developed the product team, and managed the Agile Product Squads. Hugues also worked closely with the founders on the product roadmap. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant in the banking sector at Ailancy from 2013 to 2017. In 2012, they co-founded RasoirClub, and from 2011 to 2012, they worked in credit and correlation trading at Credit Agricole CIB.

Hugues Chastel pursued their education in a chronological manner. Hugues started with their Baccalaureat série Scientifique, specializing in Mathematics, at Notre Dame de Bury from 1998 to 2005. Following that, they attended Classe Préparatoire aux Grandes Ecoles at Lycée Tugot, Paris 3ème, where they studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, obtaining a degree known as PCSI - PC. Hugues then went to Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2008 to 2010, earning a BSc in Science & Technology with a focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Finally, they joined EDHEC Business School from 2010 to 2013, completing Grande Ecole & MSc in Business & Management, specializing in Management, Finance, Strategy, and Accounting.
