Scott Dove

Scott Dove has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Scott is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Aravive, Inc. since March 2022. Prior to that, they held senior leadership positions at PPD, starting as an Associate Director and progressing to Senior Vice President in Early Development Services. Scott was also the Vice President in Early Development Services at PPD. Before PPD, Scott was an Executive Director at Allergan, where they were responsible for clinical development in the gastroenterology department. Scott also worked at Actavis plc (now Allergan) as an Executive Director in Clinical Development for gastroenterology. Prior to their roles at Allergan and Actavis, they served as an Executive Director in Clinical Development & Operations at Furiex Pharmaceuticals. Scott began their career at PPD as an Associate Director in Medical Writing and later held roles as Associate Director in Product Development and Senior Director in Compound Partnering.

Scott Dove earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995. Scott then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Science/Pharmacology from Texas A&M University from 1995 to 1999.
