Kai Arulkumaran

Kai Arulkumaran has held numerous roles in the tech industry since 2010. Kai began their career as a Web Developer for Kaixhin, then moved on to a Junior Developer role at inensu in 2012. In 2011, they were a Web Developer for Wellframe. From 2017 to 2020, they held various research internships at Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook AI, DeepMind and NNAISENSE. In 2020, they were a Visiting Researcher, Research Assistant and Research Team Lead at Imperial College London, as well as a Researcher at Araya Inc.

Kai Arulkumaran obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering from Imperial College London between 2014 and 2020. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London between 2013 and 2014. Kai also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge between 2009 and 2012. In addition, they obtained certifications from Coursera in Computational Neuroscience (2015), Mining Massive Datasets (2014), Data Analysis and Statistical Inference (2014), Introduction to Data Science (2014), and Machine Learning (2014).
