Kan Akutsu

Kan Akutsu has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles.

- From 2023, they have been working as a Chief Researcher at Araya Inc., where they are involved in promoting Goal 1 of the Moonshot Project. The project aims to achieve the "Internet of Brains (IoB)" by connecting the brain to the Internet using brain-machine interface (BMI) technology. Their responsibilities include controlling robots in the cyber-physical space, communicating with other humans and AI.

- Prior to this, from 2019 to 2023, Kan worked at Zeals Co., Ltd. Kan served as a People and Culture Manager from April 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they were a Manager from September 2021 to June 2022. Their earliest role at Zeals Co., Ltd. was as a Product Manager from January 2019 to November 2021.

- Kan's career began in 2012 at DeNA, where they worked as a Project Lead from April 2012 to December 2018.

From 2010 to 2012, Kan Akutsu attended The University of Tokyo, where they pursued a field of study in Mechano-Informatics.
