Anne-Marie Lawrence has worked in a variety of roles since 1991. Anne-Marie began their career as a Manager at Marie Stopes International in 1991. In 1999, they became a Psychotherapist at Guys and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Anne-Marie then moved to South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust in 2004, where they remained a Psychotherapist until 2015. In 2015, they joined The Arbinger Institute as an Arbinger Coach and Facilitator. Anne-Marie also began working as a Leadership Trainer for Global DreamWeb - Developing Peace & Empowerment. Finally, in 2017, they became a Mindset Coach and Facilitator at ArbingerNL.

Anne-Marie Lawrence has an extensive education history. Anne-Marie began their education in 1981, earning a Higher National Diploma from the University of Chichester in Health, Leisure and Management. In 1992, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the University of Westminster. In 1994, they earned a Certificate in Gestalt Counselling and Psychotherapy from The Gestalt Centre in London. In 1997, they earned a Diploma in Counselling BACP from the Central School of Psychotherapy and Counselling London. In 1998, they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the School of Psychotherapy, Regents University, London. In 2000, they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Attachment-Based Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy from the John Bowlby Centre in London. In 2014, they earned a Co-Active Coaching & Leadership Graduate from The Coaches Training Institute. Finally, in 2018, they began a Facilitator-in-Training program at the NNI Dialogue Institute, which they are still currently enrolled in.
