Troy Thompson has worked in a variety of roles since 1996. Troy began their career as a Guest Relations Coordinator at Daytona International Speedway in 1996. In 2000, they were an Interactive Marketing Manager, Lead Content Editor, Content Editor (eCommerce), and Interactive Marketing Intern at International Speedway Corporation (ISC). From 2005 to 2008, they were a Senior Interactive Marketing Manager and Brand/Advertising Manager at Arizona Office of Tourism. From 2008 to 2017, they held the role of Director of Digital Marketing & Communications at VISIT DENVER, City and County of Denver. In 2017, they were a Senior Manager, Business Transformation & Organizational Change at Universal Parks & Resorts. From 2007 to 2019, they were a Founder & Principal at Pattern. In 2019, they were a Designer & Founder at Empatia Design Studio. Since 2018, they have been a Director of Client Success, Senior Consultant & Lead Facilitator, and Senior Manager, Client Success (Customer Success) at The Arbinger Institute. In 2020, they were a Senior Consultant, Engagement Manager, and Lead Consultant at Theorem, LLC.

Troy Thompson has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine and Studio Arts from the University of Central Florida. Troy has also obtained certifications from The Arbinger Institute in Developing and Implementing an Outward Mindset, Outward Inclusion, and Outward Leadership.
