Mirja Asplund

Mirja Asplund has extensive experience in education, particularly in mathematics and special pedagogy, currently serving as Ämnesansvarig för Matematik and Förstelärare Special Pedagogue Support at Internationella Engelska Skolan since August 2010. Responsibilities include assisting with individual adjustments for students, evaluating programs, and supporting national tests. Additional roles have included teaching mathematics and social studies and overseeing the Study Center. Mirja has also contributed as a volunteer at the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, providing service to media personnel and has held various teaching positions with Borås Stad and other institutions. Mirja holds a teaching degree in mathematics for grades 7-9 from Linköping University and a foundational teaching degree from the University of Borås.
