Siddhartha Jha

Siddhartha Jha is the founder and CEO of Arbol, a commodities trading company. Prior to Arbol, Siddhartha worked as a Cross-Commodities Quantitative Strategist at Citadel LLC from May 2017 to August 2018. In this role, they worked closely with senior management, portfolio managers, and analyst teams on a wide range of aspects of the commodity trading businesses, including data, analytics, quantitative fundamental models, back-testing strategies, and risk.

From October 2013 to March 2017, Siddhartha was the Director of Multi-commodities trading (Agriculture/Metals) at Castleton Commodities International. In this role, they initiated agricultural commodities trading at Castleton. The commodities traded included grains such as wheat/corn/soybean futures; relative value, flat price and options trading. Siddhartha's approach was discretionary trading combining traditional fundamental analysis and quantitative methods. Siddhartha also traded industrial metals with a focus on broader macro forces as well as individual metal fundamentals.

Siddhartha Jha attended Harvard University, where they earned a B.A. in Applied Math/Econ and a M.A. in Statistics.
