Lauren Marshall, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of environmental conservation and urban forestry. Currently, they serve as the Senior Manager for Program Innovation at the Arbor Day Foundation since June 2022. Prior to this, they were a Board Member at Nature Sacred, where they advised on strategic direction and resource allocation for cultivating urban green spaces.

In 2020, Lauren joined the Core Leadership Team at the Green Communities Leadership Institute. Lauren also held various positions at the U.S. Forest Service, including Legislative Affairs Specialist, National Program Manager for Urban & Community Forestry, Assistant Director (Acting) for Urban & Community Forestry, and Advisory Board Member for the Presidential Management Fellows Program.
