Ryan Nichols

Ryan Nichols is a seasoned finance and real estate professional with extensive experience in underwriting and credit analysis. Currently serving as Managing Director and Chief Underwriter at Arbor Realty Trust since February 2020, Ryan previously held positions as Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriter at Arbor Commercial Mortgage from June 2010 to February 2020, where responsibilities included the full credit underwriting of Fannie Mae DUS loans for multifamily properties. Ryan's career also includes analytical roles at US Bank, Huron Consulting Group, John Hancock Life Insurance Company, and Aviva Life Insurance, focusing on loan transactions and consulting in various capacities. Ryan holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.
