Daniel Bonder has a diverse work experience in the medical and scientific fields. Their current position is as a Medical Director at Answers in CME (AiCME) since June 2022. Before that, they worked as a Medical Writer and Senior Medical Writer at Arbor Scientia from April 2019 to May 2022.
Daniel also has experience as a Freelance Medical Writer, where they worked with Flywheel Partners from January 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they created pharmaceutical sales training materials and performed literature research.
Prior to their freelance work, Daniel held a position as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from October 2016 to December 2017. Here, they developed a cell culture stretch injury system to mimic traumatic brain injuries.
Daniel also has experience in academia, having worked as an Adjunct Instructor of Neuroscience at Drew University from January 2017 to May 2017, and as an Adjunct Instructor of Biology at Union County College from January 2016 to December 2016, and at Kean University from January 2015 to December 2016.
Daniel started their career as a PhD Student Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2009 to December 2014. During this time, they utilized multiphoton microscopy to study brain activity and blood flow in rodents and worked on improving graduate student career awareness and training.
Daniel Bonder completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Neuroscience from Drew University, a four-year program that lasted from 2005 to 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neurobiology from 2009 to 2014.
