Dhana Polasi

Dhana Polasi has been working in the DevOps engineering field since 2011. In 2017, they began working at ForeSee as a DevOps Engineer, where they were responsible for provisioning and managing the infrastructure in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Dhana also wrote scripts for automating infrastructure and built end-to-end pipeline jobs using CI/CD tools. Later that year, Dhana took on an internship as a DevOps Engineer at Pantar Solutions Inc, where they created Jenkins pipeline templates to build and deploy Java applications, configured new jobs for all applications in Jenkins, and worked on Master/Slave communication between different AWS nodes. In 2018, Dhana started working at Verint as a Senior DevOps Engineer. During their time there, they worked on different AWS services such as EC2, S3, ELB, Cloudfront, Cloudformation, VPC, Route53, SWF, SNS, SES, IAM, Lambda, ECS, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, EFS, RDS, etc. Dhana also created and managed Jenkins jobs to build end-to-end deployment and automated slave nodes using Ansible. In 2020, Dhana began working at ArborMetrix as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Dhana is currently responsible for migrating statefulset and Deployments from Kops vanilla Kubernetes cluster to AWS Kubernetes cluster (EKS). Additionally, they are designing and developing Helm charts, testing, and deploying into Kubernetes using Argocd (Deployment tool) and identifying and fixing application security issues in HIPAA compliance environment to improve application grade in security score card.

Dhana Polasi obtained a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2005 and 2009. Dhana then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from Central Michigan University between 2015 and 2017. In addition, they hold certifications from Microsoft, The Linux Foundation, and Amazon Web Services, including Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies (2020), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (2022), and AWS Certified Developer - Associate (2017).
