Carolyn is a Principal of Arborview Capital, leads sourcing and evaluation of new investment opportunities and supports our current portfolio founders. Carolyn is an experienced venture investor with a track record of supporting entrepreneurs to build companies that provide measurable value to society and to the environment. Prior to Arborview, Carolyn worked at the Omidyar Network, a family office that has invested more than $1.5 billion in venture capital and philanthropic grants to organizations globally that foster individual flourishing and economic advancement.
Carolyn began her career at Goldman Sachs before cutting her teeth on the operational side of an early stage venture with African Leadership Academy. From there she returned to investing as a venture portfolio manager with the Awethu Project.
Carolyn graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in History and thesis honors. She holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business with a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation.
