Seyma Ozturk Guliyev

Seyma Ozturk Guliyev is a highly experienced chemist with a focus on medicinal chemistry, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Arbutus Biopharma Corporation since October 2018. Prior to this role, Seyma worked as both a Scientist and Graduate Research Assistant at Princeton University from September 2012 to September 2018. Earlier academic experiences include graduate research positions at Bilkent University from September 2009 to August 2012, and undergraduate research roles at UC Santa Barbara from September 2008 to July 2009. Seyma holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from Princeton University, a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Bilkent University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Bilkent University as well. Additionally, Seyma participated in an exchange program in Chemistry at UC Santa Barbara during the 2008-2009 academic year.
