Lawrence Buchan

Lawrence Buchan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Arbutus Medical. Prior to this, they were a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia and a Project Co-ordinator & Co-Investigator at Uganda Sustainable Trauma Orthopaedic Program. Buchan has also worked as a Biomechanics Research Assistant at Centre for Hip Health and Mobility. Lawrence has key proficiencies in design project mentorship and course planning.

Lawrence Buchan has a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Biomedical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
