Colin Masson

Colin Masson has over 40 years of experience in manufacturing, IT, research and development, and sales and marketing. Colin has worked in various roles and positions in prominent companies such as ARC Advisory Group and Microsoft. At ARC Advisory Group, they currently serve as the Director of Research, where they share their expertise in evaluating, implementing, marketing, and selling manufacturing, enterprise, and supply chain edge and cloud solutions. Prior to joining ARC, they spent 15 years at Microsoft, where they held several global industry leadership roles, including Global Industry Marketing Director, Global Industry Director, and Worldwide Solution Director. Colin is widely recognized as an evangelist and advocate for the manufacturing industry and has extensive knowledge and insights in the congruence of people, processes, and technology in manufacturing. Colin has also worked at AMR Research, Invensys Process Systems, Marcam, Aspen Technology, TML, National Chemical Products, Karbochem, and AECI, where they held various positions related to research, IT, and manufacturing.

Colin Masson earned a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Surrey, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Colin also obtained additional certification in "Accessibility in Action" from Microsoft in 2021.
