Matthew Mey

Matthew Mey has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and automotive industries. In 2013, they were a Wading Pool Attendant for the City of Toronto. Matthew then worked as a Project Management Team Assistant for M&R Automation GmbH in 2014, followed by a Junior Mechanical Designer role in 2015. In 2015, they also joined the Queen's Space Engineering Team as a Sponsorship and Marketing Manager and Team Captain. In 2016, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Pliteq. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Virgin Hyperloop in roles such as Lead Mechanical Design Engineer- Battery, Lead Process Development Engineer- High Voltage Systems, and Battery Integrated Product Team (IPT) Interim Lead. Matthew is currently employed at Arc Boat Company as a Vehicle Engineer.

Matthew Mey attended Queen's University from 2013 to 2017 and studied Engineering Physics.
