Casey Myers is a highly experienced professional in the fields of quantum computing and physics, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at The University of Western Australia and a Quantum Supercomputing Researcher at Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre since September 2024. In addition, Casey leads the Quantum Algorithms and Applications Team at Silicon Quantum Computing Pty. Ltd. and holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at the ARC Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology, roles maintained since November 2021. Previous experience includes Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, a Theoretical Physicist position at Xanadu, and a Senior Quantitative Analyst role at National Australia Bank. Academic contributions began as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at both the ARC Centre of Excellence for Engineered Quantum Systems and the Centre for Quantum Computer Technology, following a strong educational background culminating in a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Waterloo.
