Ishwa Muzaffery

Ishwa Muzaffery is a skilled research professional with experience in microbiology and biological conservation. As a Research Associate at GRAIL, Inc. from February 2021 to February 2023, Ishwa executed complex functional testing of reagents and maintained standard operating procedures related to quality control. Prior to this role, Ishwa conducted research at Sonoma State University, focusing on oxidative stress in Antarctic fish by analyzing heat shock proteins, and worked with a team of conservation biologists at Bodega Bay Marine Lab to aid in the recovery of endangered White Abalone populations, studying the impacts of withering syndrome. Ishwa holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from Sonoma State University, obtained in 2020.
