Nathaniel Cooper

Nathaniel Cooper is a Laboratory Assistant at Arc Institute since May 2022, involved in lab operations. Previously served as Adjunct Faculty at Foothill-De Anza Community College District from January 2015 to June 2022, providing supplemental instruction in statistics, chemistry, math, and biology. Additionally, Nathaniel worked as an Independent Contractor for Grassroots Ecology in September 2016, focusing on the propagation of California sycamores, and interned with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) in mid-2014, collecting ecological data on sea otters. Experience also includes a position as a Junior Specialist at UC Santa Cruz, where duties encompassed scientific diving and laboratory work related to marine sediments. Nathaniel holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from San Jose State University and Bachelor’s and Associate degrees in Marine Biology and Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Foothill College, respectively.
