Roopa Dattani

Roopa Dattani is an experienced directional well planner with a diverse background in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Directional Well Planner (Contract) at ARC Resources Ltd. since July 2022. As a founding member and Education Chair of the Canadian Wellbore Positioning Committee since June 2019, Roopa actively contributes to the field's development. Previous roles include Senior Directional Well Planner and Well Planning Manager at Pacesetter Directional Drilling from January 2010 to December 2021, as well as providing consulting services through Roopa Dattani Consulting Inc. from January 2008 to April 2013. With extensive experience as a Well Planner at companies such as Absolute Energy, Phoenix Technology Services, Nevis Energy Services, and Schlumberger, Roopa has established a strong expertise in directional well planning over a career spanning several decades.
